The second Drink Japan event for 2025 was held in London on 10th and 11th October at Lindley Hall, offering tastings of Japanese sake, whisky, beer, teas and food, featuring producers and live demos.

For two unforgettable days, exhibitors who share a deep love for Japan came together as one team to welcome over 2,000 guests with warmth and enthusiasm. Despite the huge challenge of a last-minute venue change, the event turned out to be an overwhelming success.

Though still a “baby” in its second year, Drink Japan has already shown such strong potential and promise. A platform that proudly shares Japan’s craftsmanship, flavours, and spirit with the world has been steadily built here in London, the global hub of culture, information and the drinks industry.

Due to the Trump administration’s imposition of a 15% export tariff on Japanese goods to the U.S., Japanese brewers are increasingly interested in the European market as an alternative. Sake will be gaining significant popularity in UK market.

The new ideas for the next year’s event have already been laid out to make it even more exciting and inspiring.
