Reception to Promote Sake and Food from Fukushima

Fukushima prefecture hosted a reception at the Royal Auto Mobile Club in St James London to promote sake and food as well as its industries and nature of Fukushima. Two hundred distinguished guests such as Ambassador of Japan, members of Parliament, Japanese and UK company executives and directors of the food & drink industry were all invited, creating a large, fully attended event.

The governor of Fukushima Masao Uchibori gave a powerful speech and informative lecture on current Fukushima, which was hugely appreciated by all the guests. With the support of Mr Yoshio Mitsuyama, the chairman of the Fukushima prefecture association, the event was a clear success.

All the guests enjoyed the delicious sake and foods, and appreciated the wealth of local products from such a beautiful prefecture.
