Red Cross Charity Event

The Sake Samurai and Yoshitake & Associates were proud to sponsor the inaugural British Red Cross Good Look Fashion Show on Friday, 5th June.

This sell out event brought guests together in support of ‘Good’ causes, through the medium of stunning catwalk ‘Looks’.

The evening began with an elegant drinks reception, where guests were served with sparkling pink champagne and floral trays of dainty canapés. Meanwhile, they browsed the Raffle Room, where purchasing a raffle ticket afforded the chance to win phenomenal prizes: a luxury dinner for four at The Ivy, a hamper of Cetuem beauty products worth £500…and most excitingly, for £10 a play, two lucky entrants would be in with the chance to win a box of 12 premium sake totalling over £600 in value. For entering, guests would also walk away with a complimentary glass of premium sake, which was refillable throughout the night. Urakasumi Zen, Haku Boten and Urakazumi Umeshu were among the sake served that night.

With everyone in high spirits, the lights were dimmed and guests were ushered into the grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons, for the evening’s main event. One by one, models in luxurious textiles swanned past an enraptured audience, generously donated by Amanda Wakeley, PPQ, Erdem and other eminent designers. Particular favourites were couture dresses donated by Dar Sara, which consisted of confectionery creations in pink, nude and black.

Following the fashion show was a live auction of several of the donated dresses, in addition to some incredible donated gifts, such as an 18ct white gold pendant with diamonds from Boodles, a private wine tasting with the Chairman of the Institute of Masters of Wine and a VIP experience at the Nicky Clarke Mayfair salon, worth £1,000.

To finish off the evening, the lucky raffle prize winners were drawn and two very satisfied guests taxied home that evening with their prize boxes of delicious sake. Kanpai!
