JAMS London International Seminar

6th March 2025

Japan Association of Marine Safety (JAMS) London office held a 2-day-seminar at Japan House London focusing on maritime safety through discussions on unmanned vessels and systems. Sake was served during the networking after the long first day session. This is the third time we supported their annual event, and many regular participants from the UK and other European countries visited the site looking forward to tasting sake during the networking.

Fifteen varieties of sake from different areas of Japan were served on site, including Koshu, Umeshu and sparkling sake. All sakes were arranged by categories. Participants asked about flavours to the serving experts or Japanese colleagues, and explored the variety of sake. It seemed that the conversation was flowing more by talking about sake; their preference, flavours, or production area.

The lecture seemed to continue on the next day, but we can clearly see sake has made a great bond between participants and contributed to build a good relationship between each other.
