Japan Rugby World Cup 2019 Celebration
Twickenham, 15th November 2018
2019 is the year that Japan hosts the Rugby World Cup and in honour of this memorable occasion, a promotion event was held at the World Rugby Museum in Twickenham by the Rugby Football Union and Rhino Rugby.
Mr RegClark, CEO of Rhino Rugby kicked off the proceedings, followed by a speech describing the history, present and future of rugby in Japan by Mr Tadashi Okamura, President of the Rugby Football Association.
A celebration of Japanese rugby would of course be incomplete without Japan’s national alcohol. Sake Samurai UK were therefore delighted to treat guests to a selection of premium sake, including Urakasumi’s junmai ginjo “M”, as they browsed the museum. Mr Koichi Saura, Head of Urakasumi Brewery, and Tazaki Foods were also delighted to support the celebrations in this memorable year for Japanese sports.
