Nada-gogo: Sake Tradition and Innovation in Hyogo

From November 13th to 15th, a promotional event by the Nada-gogo Sake Brewers Association was held at Japan House London. Nada-gogo is one of Japan’s most renowned brewing regions, known for its sake-making craftsmanship and rich history.

The event focused on the sake brewing traditions and artisanal techniques that have been preserved and passed down in the Nada area, and included a lecture by the research director of Kiku-masamune Sake Brewery and a barrel-making demonstration by the head woodworker of Kenbishi Sake Brewery.

After the talk and demonstration, guests enjoyed a tasting of sake from Naga area.
