Thirteen years from the date that the late Ambassador Katsuhiko Oku was tragically killed on his mission in Iraq, friends and family gathered together to honour his memory by playing the game that he loved. The occasion was organised by Mr Reg Clerk, CEO of Rhino Group, who recalls Ambassador Oku as a “truly remarkable man”.

This event is a chance for Japanese nationals away from home to participate in a meaningful national event from afar, and for those with deep engagement in Japanese culture to show their support. Approximately 400 guests came to celebrate His Imperial Majesty’s 85th year, including Eddie Jones (English Rugby Team Coach), Japanese companies and British parliamentarians.

Chelsea Draws Huge Crowd for the 10th Annual CFCC International Tasting Event

This year was the 10th annual International Tasting Event, jointly organised by the Council of Foreign Chambers of Commerce (CFCC). The event was held at Centenary Hall at Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea FC, on 25th September. Sixteen chambers of commerce took part and collectively filled the venue to capacity, with 450 guests attending in addition to more than 50 staff and suppliers.
